The Office of the Accountant
General (Audit) II, Maharashtra, Nagpur came into existence in
1984, after bifurcation of the erstwhile Office of the
Accountant General II, Maharashtra, Nagpur into two offices
viz. Office of the Accountant General (Audit) II, Maharashtra,
Nagpur & Office of the Accountant General (A&E) II,
Maharashtra, Nagpur.
The main office is accommodated in the “Lekha Pariksha
Bhavan” situated in the lush green environment of Civil
Lines area of Nagpur City (City of Oranges) which is also the
Winter Capital of Maharashtra State. The Central Audit Parties and one
Central Audit Supporting Section are located in the office of
the Accountant General (A&E)-II, Maharashtra, Nagpur.
